As a church family we have a rich history of rising up and supporting many individuals, ministries and projects that have impacted local, national and international communities. These ministries continually demonstrate the love of our Father and provide hope in hopeless situations.
We are able to look back on these amazing ministries because of the generosity of many individuals who have faithfully given their abilities, time and money. As we dream towards the future of what God is doing through HBC Chester we faithfully believe in the generosity of individuals who have a heart to give.
Online giving
This is quick and easy for one off donations, which are done via Stewardship’s give.net.
However, if you are already part of our church and wish to make a one-off donation then please do a bank transfer directly from your account to our account and reference it as ‘one-off donation’.
Standing Order
The most effective and convenient way for you to give is by regular standing order. Decide how much you want to give, set it up, and let your giving take care of itself each month. If you would like to set up a standing order directly with your bank, please use the form below. Please ensure that your regular standing order payment is received by us between the 1st and 25th of each month for administration purposes. Please use the reference ‘regular giving’ so that the payment can be identified when it appears on our bank statement. Please also email finance@hbc.org.uk to let us know the start date and amount. We can then check that we have received the first payment correctly and acknowledge receipt.
Tax efficient giving
If you pay UK tax (Income or Capital Gains Tax) we are able to claim back on your behalf the basic rate tax paid. So, as an example, for every £100 given we can increase this to £125. If you would like us to be able to do this you will need to fill in, sign and return to us an ongoing Gift Aid Declaration, if you have not done so already. (If you pay higher rate tax, you may recover this through your own tax return.) Please fill in the form below and return to the office.
