Ed has been in Chester since 2002 working and living in Blacon for the majority of that time with his wife Lynsey and their children.
Ed has been Associate Leader of HBC since September 2013 after being on placement from Bible College.
Ed came to Chester to work with the Light Project in 2002 where he stayed for 8 years. He has a passion for mission and encouraging the church to reach people for Jesus by being disciples who make disciples. His main responsibility at HBC is to oversee the Children’s, Youth and Families work which covers a wide range of clubs and activities both church and community based. He also works with the leadership team thinking about our mission across Chester as a church.
In his spare time he loves to spend time with his family with trips to the zoo, watching movies and generally having fun. Ed also loves listening to and playing music, leading worship and playing the guitar. His favourite bands range from Rend Collective & Jesus Culture to the Foo Fighters! He is also a passionate football fan and supports Manchester Utd.
