HBC was instrumental in the setting up of Link Up as a trust in 2002 to facilitate the vision of unity and mission across the whole Church in Chester and now West Cheshire. Andy Glover is recognised by the churches involved in Link Up to be one of the leaders of the relational network. He is a Trustee and is involved on the Core Team which leads the network. Hazel Gilbert will be “seconded” from HBC for 1 day a week to work for Link Up and HBC provides office space for Link Up in HLC. Sue Glover is the Link Up Prayer Coordinator. One of the projects overseen by Link Up is a United Youth Ministry across Chester, Rachel Sims is ‘seconded’ from HBC for 1 hour a week to help administrate Engage, a youth mission event that takes place once a year , 2 residential weekends and Soul Survivor.
