Andrew is married to Su and has lived in Hoole since 2000.
Andrew is a chemical engineer and works in the water industry for a multi-national company with a local office in Chester. He spent 4½ years working in South Africa in the 1980s, where he was privileged to be part of a congregation of over 5,000 members! Returning to the UK he spent 10 years at Redhill Christian Fellowship in Surrey, with a slightly more modest congregation of around 50. He moved to Chester in 1998 and has been attending Hoole Baptist Church since that time.
Andrew and Su currently lead a Lifegroup in their home and have recently stepped back from fostering young children.
When not working, Andrew enjoys spending time in the hills and mountains of the UK, summer and winter, with and without a rope. He is gradually visiting the summit of all of Scotland’s mountains over 3,000 ft, somewhat scathingly referred to as Munro bagging by some: his anticipated date for completing this pointless activity moves with each passing year!
