Night Church

The concept of Night Church is to open a city centre church in the late evening (e.g. 9.30pm – 2am) in order to offer a place of shelter, hospitality and spirituality. This runs twice a month on Saturday (2nd and 4th) and is led by the Light Project. It is based at St Peters Church in the centre of Chester. Some of its aims are: to provide a place of welcome, shelter and safety for people; to provide a place of hospitality where people can have light refreshments; to provide a place where people can choose to explore spirituality through creative arts such as music, poetry, sculpture, art. Some members of HBC are volunteers.
